What’s the difference between the three tiers?

Essentials covers all your core bookings with minimal ongoing communication. Signature Support adds more pre-trip collaboration, itinerary flexibility, and during-travel support during business hours. Curated Concierge takes it a step further — you’ll have a travel advisor actively managing your trip from start to finish with concierge-level care.

Why do you charge a planning fee and professional service fee in addition to the trip cost?

The planning fee covers my professional time, expertise, and behind-the-scenes work to design and manage your trip. It’s separate from the cost of flights, accommodations, tours, and other travel expenses — and ensures you get personalized, unbiased recommendations. The professional service fee is to retain a travel advisor's professional service beyond the research and recommendation process.

What happens if my plans change after booking?

We understand that life happens. If you need to change or cancel a booking, my change/cancellation fee is $50–$150 per reservation, depending on complexity. This is a separate professional fee from what suppliers may charge. We’ll also advocate for the best possible outcomes with suppliers to minimize costs wherever possible.

Is travel insurance included?

Travel insurance isn’t included in any planning or management fees, but I will recommend a policy suited to your trip and arrange it for you if you wish to purchase a plan. This is an important layer of protection, and in most cases, it’s required to work with me beyond the Wayfinder Report delivery (or you’ll need to sign a waiver).

How will I access my itinerary?

Every Your Curated Compass client receives access to a mobile trip app containing all your travel details, confirmations, and contacts — updated in real time. No more juggling printouts or digging through email chains. We also provide final documentation via email and available in the mobile app.

When should I start the process?

As soon as possible. The earlier we begin, the more options we’ll have and the more we can save on fares. Last-minute trips can be arranged, but may incur additional booking fees or higher travel costs.

We do not plan, book or manage new trips within 72 hours of departure.
